1. Information We Collect

1.1 Data You Provide

When using MedTick, you may create and manage the following information:

• Medication names, types, and dosage notes
• Medication emoji and custom colors
• Prescription photos (Pro feature, stored locally only)
• Check-in schedules and reminder settings
• Medication check-in history
• Task templates and quick tasks
• Person/profile labels (Pro feature, for multi-person tracking)

1.2 Automatically Collected Information

MedTick does not automatically collect any personal information, usage statistics, or analytics data.

2. How We Store Your Data

This means:

• ✓ Your data remains private and under your complete control
• ✓ No account registration or login required
• ✓ No risk of data breaches from external servers
• ✗ Data is not automatically backed up (please use iCloud device backup)

3. Permissions We Request

3.1 Notification Permission

MedTick requests permission to send you local notifications to remind you to take your medications. This permission is:

• Optional: The app is usable without enabling notifications
• Local: All notifications are generated and delivered locally by your device — no data is sent to any server
• User-controlled: You can disable notifications at any time in iOS Settings

3.2 Camera and Photo Library (Pro Feature)

MedTick Pro offers an optional feature to photograph prescription labels and attach photos to medications. If you use this feature:

• Permission is optional: You can use the app fully without granting camera or photo access
• Photos are stored locally only: Images are saved in the app sandbox on your device and never transmitted anywhere
• User-controlled: You can revoke access at any time in iOS Settings > Privacy > Photos

3.3 Permissions We Do NOT Request

MedTick does not request access to:

• Location Services
• Contacts or Calendar
• Microphone
• HealthKit or Health app data
• Any other device features

4. Third-Party Services

MedTick does not use any third-party services, including:

• No analytics or tracking tools (e.g., Google Analytics, Firebase)
• No advertising networks
• No social media integrations
• No crash reporting services

5. In-App Purchases

MedTick offers premium features through a Pro subscription:

• All purchases are processed by Apple through the App Store
• We do not collect or store your payment information
• Your purchase history is managed by Apple and linked to your Apple ID
• Premium status is verified locally through Apple's StoreKit framework

6. Data Sharing and Disclosure

We do not share, sell, rent, or disclose your data to any third parties.

Since all data is stored locally on your device and we have no access to it, there is nothing to share.

7. Sensitive Health Data

Medication information you enter into MedTick is stored exclusively within the app sandbox on your device. This data is:

• Protected by iOS sandbox security — other apps cannot access it
• Never transmitted to our servers or any third party
• Protected by your device passcode, Face ID, or Touch ID

8. Children's Privacy

MedTick does not knowingly collect any personal information from any users. The app can be safely used by all ages under parental guidance. No account registration is required.

9. Your Rights and Choices

You have complete control over your data:

• Access: All your data is visible and manageable within the app
• Deletion: Delete individual medications or clear all history within the app
• Complete Removal: Uninstalling the app permanently deletes all local data

10. Data Security

Your data security is ensured by:

• Local-only storage protected by iOS sandbox security
• No network transmission of personal or health data
• No external server vulnerabilities
• Your device's passcode and biometric protection

11. Changes to This Privacy Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Any changes will be reflected in the effective date shown at the top of this policy. We will notify users of significant changes through app updates.

12. GDPR Compliance (European Users)

For European users: MedTick is GDPR-compliant by design:

• Data Minimization: We collect no personal data on our servers
• Purpose Limitation: All data is used solely for medication tracking
